I came up with no permanent solution. Because it only affected things when Daylight Saving Time kicks in/out, I just issued a:
“hwclock –systohc” 
whenever DST kicked in/out.

		<description>So how did you go about fixing this problem?  I am having the same problem you had.  Setting HWCLOCKACCESS=yes did not seem to help as I&#039;m guessing my bios doesn&#039;t handle the wakeup correctly.</description>
