{"id":3870,"date":"2016-04-05T05:12:53","date_gmt":"2016-04-05T10:12:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/?page_id=3870"},"modified":"2016-07-02T15:45:24","modified_gmt":"2016-07-02T20:45:24","slug":"leaf-truck","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/leaf-truck\/","title":{"rendered":"Leaf Truck"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2015\/03\/26\/how-to-purchase-a-leaf-battery-pack-and-surrounding-car\/\">purchased<\/a> a wrecked Nissan Leaf, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2015\/04\/04\/how-to-drop-a-nissan-leaf-battery-pack-without-an-auto-lift\/\">removed the battery<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/disassembled it,\">disassembled it<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2015\/10\/31\/how-to-build-a-16-volt-battery-module-from-six-nissan-leaf-cells\/\">built new batteries<\/a> out of the modules for my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2016\/01\/02\/leaf-modules-powering-s-10\/\">S-10 Electric pickup truck<\/a>. In the process, I had to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2016\/01\/03\/thunderstruck-motors-dual-tms2500-evcc-charger-package\/\">upgrade the charger<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2015\/11\/29\/s-10-ev-new-j1772-and-120-volt-charging-inlets\/\">the truck<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2016\/01\/24\/j1772-to-120-volt-opportunity-charging-auto-switchover\/\">both 240 &amp; 120 volt<\/a> charging, and install a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2015\/12\/03\/16-volt-nissan-leaf-battery-management-system-bms-information\/\">cell level BMS system<\/a> for the leaf modules.
