Depending upon where I measure between peaks on the trace, I get different frequencies:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Capture\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2902\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n277 kHz<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Capture\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2908\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_lowpower2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n294 kHz<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/pimary_lowpoer3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/pimary_lowpoer3-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Capture\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2901\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/pimary_lowpoer3-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/pimary_lowpoer3.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>17.80 uS between five peaks, or 1 \/ (3.56 \/ 1000000) = 280 kHz<\/p>\n<p>As the 280 is between the 277 and the 294, we&#8217;ll just say that my primary has a resonant frequency of 280 kHz, when at low power. <\/p>\n<p>Next, I turned the power up a bit (around 1\/3 of the way up) and got the following two measurements: <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Capture\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n263 kHz<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Screen Capture\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2905\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/primary_midpower1.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n18.40 uS for 5 peaks, or 1 \/ (3.68 \/ 1000000) = 272 kHz<\/p>\n<p>So my primary resonance is somewhere between 263 and 294 depending upon how I measure it, with a value of 272-280 looking to be a reasonable average.<\/p>\n<p>Surprisingly, my secondary resonance measurements agreed with themselves a bit better.
