I had originally wanted to build an irregular three sided &#8220;triangular&#8221; mirror, but once I figured out that my compound miter saw wouldn&#8217;t make cuts sharper than 50 degrees I decided I needed more than 3 sides&#8230;and 8 pieces would have been a nightmare to assemble.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/frame_assembly.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/frame_assembly-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"frame_assembly\" width=\"584\" height=\"438\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3064\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/frame_assembly-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/frame_assembly-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/frame_assembly-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I used a table saw to rip a groove in each piece to hold the glass, and then I used the flattest surface I had available (the mirror glass) to assemble and glue the pieces together.
