(After being covered in the material from a scrap towel to make it slightly comfortable.) I used hot glue and expanding foam to lock it in place inside the shell.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20160926_120326.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4140\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20160926_120326-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"img_20160926_120326\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20160926_120326-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/IMG_20160926_120326-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After cutting out an area to look through, I hot glued 10 layers of tulle over the hole and then covered the entire shell with navy crafting felt using hotglue.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4141\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005-300x169.png\" alt=\"shot0005\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005-500x281.png 500w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0005.png 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I cut the facial features out of thin crafting foam and hot glued them on top of the felt (being careful to let the hot glue cool enough so that the foam wouldn&#8217;t melt&#8230;.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0002-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4143\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0002-1-300x169.png\" alt=\"shot0002\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0002-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0002-1-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0002-1-500x281.png 500w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/shot0002-1.png 968w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And then I added an off-the-shelf inflatable man suit. The only modification I made was to defeat the elastic around the neck, so that the suit didn&#8217;t fully inflate, and was constantly blowing air up my neck into the full head mask. I heard a lot of kids explaining to their parents\/grandparents\/older-siblings who the character was.
