{"id":4394,"date":"2017-09-03T21:06:47","date_gmt":"2017-09-04T02:06:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/?p=4394"},"modified":"2017-09-03T21:06:47","modified_gmt":"2017-09-04T02:06:47","slug":"disassembly-and-reassembly-of-my-workbench","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2017\/09\/03\/disassembly-and-reassembly-of-my-workbench\/","title":{"rendered":"Disassembly and reassembly of my workbench"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When I built <a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/2016\/11\/11\/build-a-workbench-from-plywood-and-2x4s\/\">a workbench out of plywood and 2&#215;4&#8217;s \u00a0<\/a> I designed it to unscrew so that I could move it out of the rental and into our next home. \u00a0 It took a few hours and a lot of unscrewing, but I was able to transport it to the new house in a single load.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/truck_bed3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/truck_bed3-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"779\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/truck_bed3-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/truck_bed3-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Re-assembly was much faster than the initial build as most of the screw holes lined up perfectly, although I did swap the position of two of the plywood side sheathing pieces based upon where it was going to be put up against a wall.
