(Either straight out of the box, or intermittently.)<\/p>\n<p>After a lot of back and forth with Looking Glass (and them shipping me 4! replacement units) I was finally able to determine that the issue is the provided CHOETECH USB-C 20W PD power supplies. (Which apparently don&#8217;t work well on the 110-113 volts AC at my house, even though they are rated at 100-240 volts AC&#8230;.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5511\" src=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"329\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD-500x281.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.summet.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/chotech-usb-c-PD.jpg 1542w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not sure if it is a power issue, or some type of noise\/frequency that the power supply generates when running on voltages close to the bottom end of its range, but I can reliably fix the issue by changing over to using my Google Pixel 4A USB-C PD power adapter to power the Looking Glass Portrait.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/m60PF5n1xuI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve had re-occuring issues with Looking Glass Portrait displays where the touch sensitive capacitive buttons (Forward, Back and Play\/Pause) would not work.
