As I was preparing to return home from Athens, I had a moment of
inspiration. While cleaning the studio apartment I had shared
with Bruce for three months, my eye fell upon my trusty Pez dispenser
(in the form of Gonzo of the Muppets) which I did not wish to
carry home.
So, I attached a note to Gonzo, asking travelers to pass him on and
return photographs of him at interesting sites.
I entrusted Gonzo to Melissa (who was going to backpack through Europe and
fly home from Holland with three of the other young women) and flew home. Several
months later, the pictures
started arriving, and so, detailed below, are the travels of Gonzo....
