Comments: You may have noticed that the gender ratio of this group is not quite one to one. Bruce, Nick and I were quite disappointed.
Story: I did not take advantage of the group flight, flying Delta instead, and arrived a few hours before most of the other students. After a long, long, transatlantic flight and a frenzied cab ride I arrived at the Athens Center. Two students in the preceding cycle from Pennsylvania State were smoking in the courtyard and we had the following conversation.
-"Hey, are you with the Western Washington group?"
-"Yah"
-"So, are you Bruce or Jay?"
-"Jay. Where's my bed?"
They showed me to the office and Sorina checked me into my apartment. In my dazed state I didn't wonder how they knew that I was either Bruce or Jay. I later found out that they had "...heard all about the Western Washington group."
Nick, the third male in the picture is the son of Lyle & Betty Harris. Dr. Harris, from WWU, taught the Travel Writing class and was accompanied to Greece by his wife and son.
