Picture 15 - Taverna
The group having fun at a taverna. This particular taverna was shown to us by our bus
driver on our field trip through the Peloponnese.
Incidentally, I'm not sure what the legalities of driving after drinking are in
Greece, but our bus driver definitely did it. On narrow country roads. At night.
To his
credit, I must say that as far as I could tell, he handled the bus just as well that night as
during the day and we only had one incident (a meeting with a large truck on a one lane
bridge) that caused Nancy, who was sitting next to me, to exclaim "We're gonna die!".
