Zoom PCMCIA Bluetooth card

This card is recognized as a standard serial port (/dev/ttyS4 for me) when you plug it in. In Mandrake 10.1, all you have to do is add "/dev/ttyS4 bcsp" to the /etc/bluetooth/uart file to get it to work. (The card must be plugged in before the bluetooth subsystem is started. Or, restart the bluetooth subsystem after you insert the card.)

This card is inexpensive, and works great. Because it is a class 1 device, it has an extendable antenna and 100m range, although that isn't really needed for communicating with my phone. It also has a very bright blue LED which is impressively attention getting at night. (So attention getting that I have to cover it to get any sleep.) It only sticks out of the side of the X31 by about 1/4 of an inch.
